Way better than expected

This is the best Freet shoe I have bought so far. I already own the original Vibe which are great for stability and floor grip in the gym. I also own the original Feldom which I use for playing football on grass. These Danum shoes though are like comfortable gloves for your feet. The best part is that they are also casual enough to rock everyday around town in addition to the trails.

They were excellent until lost in the Azores

Super comfortable, zero break in time. Breathable, flexible, nice grip. Unfortunately I didn’t have them long, lost luggage in the Azores. Worth reordering though, they were that nice!

Excellent shoes and extremely comfortable

Excellent shoes and extremely comfortable. Still slightly too snug for my Taylor's bunion, as are most barefoot shoes which are good for normal bunions. However, because of the slightly stretchy uppers without a mudguard, they are fine in this regard. Use of a shoe stretcher with a bunion peg in the appropriate place and some gentle heat made them perfect.

I ordered second one without hesitation.

When I first bought these shoes, I was worried about the durability of the textile eyelets and the exposed stitching inside the shoe where the sole is attached. After more than 1000 km, everything held up perfectly. The stitching is a bit rubbed on the inside, but it doesn’t affect the function or integrity of the shoe at all. The only reason I’m buying a new pair is that I completely wore out the sole.I really appreciate Freet because they are one of the few brands that make shoes that fit the shape of my feet. This model seems to have a narrower heel, which is specific to this model — the other Freet models I own are not this tight in the heel. The heel does press and irritate my Achilles for the first few days, but it settles after a bit of wear or after the first rain. At the same time, this model feels slightly more spacious in the toe box compared to the Mudee L2.
I was also surprised that the original insoles have a different shape than the OrthoLite Insole I combine them with. Overall, these shoes are excellent — breathable, lightweight, and they dry quickly. After wearing out my first pair, I ordered another one without hesitation.
