CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The leather can be cleaned with warm water and a cloth and treated with a nubuck conditioning & water proofing spray. You can use a high quality wax cream but this will turn the leather to a smooth finish and darken it.

Like slippers

I have been wearing Freet Mudee for about 3 years. A size 40 fits my wide square feet 24cms x 10cm with toe socks but I needed something with a better grip as last winter I was struggling on icy dog walks. I ordered both the Freet Chamois and the Impala in 40 and they both fit well with a tiny bit more room than the Mudee. The Impala are like slippers so comfortable, the Chamois are stiffer around the ankle but they are exactly the same sole and I am sure they will soften up. The laces on the Impala are easy to do and stay done up. I am considering keeping both pairs!

Good boots 👍🏻

I was looking for boots with a wide toebox with a straight big toe for hiking (foot length 25cm, width 10.5cm). The Impala are a good fit and I can comfortably wear toe socks. No "breaking in" required.

So far I love these boots

So far I love these boots, they are true to size, suitable for wide feet (mine are very wide), I love how they look, and they were comfortable straight out of the box, so far they seem waterproof. I really hope they stand up to a winter of dog walking through the wet and mud

Outsole wore quickly

I’m surprised to see the outsole worn after only about 1.5 years and showing a hollow lug, especially on leather boots! I’ve had some hiking boots for about 4 years that didn’t wear the lugs down completely and had amazing grip on wet smooth rock and reasonable grip even on ice. The boots weren’t close to being as comfortable as the Impala though.
