(This is my second and updated 11-month review of the Freet Richmond 2)
I own only two pairs of shoes, my Freet’s and a pair sandals. I’ve worn the Freet Richmond every single day now for 11 months straight. I work, hike, cycle and even run every week in these. I trust them to handle just about anything.
Originally I had ordered a (USA 10 EU 44), the leather has stretched, as they should. With that being said, I’ve moved down to my typical EU size of 43. This still gives room at the toe for my 10.5” foot, but snug enough to where the leather can stretch without becoming loose on my foot.
I’m continually amazed at how well these shoes have held up. Although I just ordered a new pair - The tread on my older ones easily have another year of life left, the stitched sole remains solid, and the leather—now nicely broken in—is supple, thick, yet completely intact.
I love the look and natural materials of these shoes—people compliment them all the time. I’m always telling them, get yourself some Freet's. Without question, these are my favorite and best-value barefoot shoes I’ve ever worn, and I’ll keep wearing them as long as Freet provides. Thanks, Freet!
