Tanga

Great shoe for every day wear. Quite breathable, starchy uppers. Ideal for warm weather or for indoor wear through all year. Slip on feature is super connivant while shoe is still decently stable on the foot. I did use them for more casual running, but would not take them to more severe terrain or for activities with harsh and quick changes of direction. Fit is true to size.

These shoes did not last. The sole wore through quickly, and I feel like they lasted half as long as a normal pair of shoes. Also, I lost count of how many times I Shoe Goo'd the sole back to the main, uh, body (?) of the shoe. I mean, this is the first iteration, and I did indeed get them at half price or so, but I was still pretty disappointed. Also I have a wide midfoot and these did not have enough volume. Bleh. They just felt super cheapy.

Ordered on a hope and a whim in looking for a replacement for five fingers which I can no longer wear due to foot issues. The thick soled comfort shoes only caused me to lose my balance and are a hazard. The Tanga allows my foot to move freely and I am in good, solid contact with the ground and still have enough support for my inserts. Only wearing in the house as these are so comfy and are my new house shoes.

They feel like slippers with grippy soles. I love how easy they are to put on and how comfortable they are.

For some reason my previous review had four stars when I actually gave it three because the soles are slippery on tile.
